Amboseli - Samburu - Masai Mara

Starting in the capital city of Nairobi, you will be immediately immersed in the conservation culture of Kenya, visiting both an elephant orphanage and a giraffe center en route to your first game reserve, Amboseli. Your trip will continue on to Samburu National Reserve, and your week will end on a high at the infamous Masai Mara. You will leave seduced and wanting more.

Day 1 Arrive Nairobi

Jambo and welcome to Kenya! You will be met and transferred to your hotel overlooking the Nairobi National Park.

Day 2 Nairobi

After a leisurely breakfast visit the Daphne Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage to see orphaned animals including baby elephants. Lunch at the famous Carnivore restaurant and continue to the Karen Blixen Museum and Giraffe center where you can view and feed the Rothschild giraffe.

Day 3 Nairobi-Amboseli

part by scheduled light aircraft for Amboseli National Park. Proceed for your first game viewing experience this afternoon in the lodge vehicle.

Day 4 Amboseli

You will have morning and afternoon game drives with spectacular views of Mt. Kilimanjaro on a clear day.

Day 5 Amboseli-Samburu

Return flight to Nairobi and connect onto Samburu Game Reserve. After lunch enjoy a game drive in the camp vehicle.

Morning and afternoon game drives in Samburu Game Reserve.

Day 7 Samburu-Masai Mara

Transfer to the airstrip for your flight to the Masai Mara. You will have a game drive in the private sanctuary in the camp’s open vehicles.

Day 8 & 9 Masai Mara

You will experience two days of game viewing with your driver/guide and a Maasai tracker in the reserve, with excellent chances of spotting the Big Five.

Day 10 Masai Mara-Nairobi-Depart

Return to Nairobi where you will have a day room available for use. The afternoon is at leisure to do some last minute shopping or relax before your departing flight.
