Day 2 - Victoria Falls (Zambia)

Head straight from Johannesburg to the largest waterfalls in the world – Victoria Falls – a spectacular sight! Wind down your exhilarating day with a sunset cruise down the Zambezi River, experiencing the tastes, sights, and sounds of Zambia. Evening sunset cruise on the Zambezi.

Day 3 - Victoria Falls

Guided walk of Victoria Falls. Learn about the geology of this area that is the source of the River Nile; the “discovery” of the falls by David Livingstone who bestowed the name to the famous British monarch.

Day 4 - Victoria Falls - Hwange National Park (Zimbabwe)

Transfer by road into Zimbabwe followed by a short bush flight to the famous Hwange National Park. It is a park of contrasts, from dense teak woodlands to open savanna plains offering a change of some spectacular wildlife viewing. Afternoon game drive in the park, home to large concentrations of elephants, giraffes, sable, and cape buffalo.

Day 5 & 6 - Hwange National Park

Morning and afternoon game viewing activities, option to go on a walking safari, village visit.

Day 7 - Hwange - Bumi Hills

Board your light aircraft to Bumi Hils. With the Zambezi escarpment as a backdrop, your lodge overlooks Lake Kariba.Afternoon game drive in the Bumi private concession that is home to a variety of wildlife species.

Day 8 & 9 - Bumi Hills

Morning and afternoon game viewing activities, option to go on a walking safari. You can even cruise Lake Kariba in search of wildlife, walking safaris; visit fossilized dinosaur footprints that were discovered, stargaze the twinkling African skies.

Day 10 - Mana Pools

Travel by light aircraft to Mana Pools located in Lower Zambezi. The remote location of the camp gives you unparalleled access to view migrating elephants and a host of the local game that depend on the waterer way and flood plain.

Day 11 & 12 - Mana Pools

Spend the next two days to round out your safari adventure by vehicle, canoeing and walking.
