Day 1 – Arrive in Windhoek

Welcome to Namibia! Upon arrival in the capital of Windhoek, you will be met and transferred to your accommodations. Take the rest of the day to relax and soak in the unique ambiance of this charming city.

Day 2 – Windhoek / Swakopmund

Depart for the coast via Okahandja, where you’ll stop at a vibrant craft market. Continue to Goanikontes and the mesmerizing Moon Landscape before arriving in the coastal town of Swakopmund–a striking contrast to the desert surroundings. Enjoy the relaxed coastal vibe and maybe explore the local shops or beach.

Day 3 – Swakopmund / Damaraland

Drive towards the wild beauty of Damaraland, stopping by Henties Bay, Twyfelfontein, and the otherworldly Organ Pipes. As you journey through this dramatic landscape, discover the hidden gems of the region and learn about Namibia’s remarkable conservancy programs.

Day 4 – Damaraland

Enjoy a leisurely morning or join a guided hiking tour with a picnic breakfast to start your day as the sun rises over the desert. In the evening, embark on a sundowner drive along the Aba Haub River, where the stark beauty of the landscape and the chance to spot wildlife create unforgettable moments.

Day 5 – Damaraland / Etosha

On your way to the renowned Etosha National Park, make a stop to visit a Himba village. The unique culture and way of life of the Himba people are fascinating and will be one of the most memorable highlights of your trip. Continue to Etosha and enjoy your first game drive in one of Africa’s largest and most famous parks.

Day 8 – Etosha / Windhoek / Depart

After breakfast, begin your journey south to Windhoek. Along the way, stop in Otjiwarongo and Okahandja, where you can explore a local handicraft market and take home some authentic Namibian souvenirs. Continue to Windhoek and connect to your onward travel arrangements.
