Day 1 – Arrive in Colombo / Habarana
Welcome to Sri Lanka! Upon arrival in Colombo, you’ll be warmly greeted and transferred to Habarana. Enjoy lunch en route before visiting the magnificent Dambulla Cave Temples, a UNESCO World Heritage site featuring 150 intricate Buddha statues nestled within five awe-inspiring caves. Later, embark on a Village Safari Tour in Habarana, experiencing Sri Lankan rural life through tuk-tuk rides, bullock carts, and a serene boat journey.

Day 2 – Habarana
Dive into the heart of Sri Lanka’s cultural triangle. Begin the day with a visit to the Rock Fortress of Sigiriya, an ancient palace perched atop a towering rock, offering panoramic views and fascinating frescoes. In the afternoon, explore Polonnaruwa, the former capital of Sri Lanka, and marvel at its intricate temples, statues, and royal palaces.

Day 4 – Jaffna
Discover the rich history and culture of Jaffna. Visit Hammenhiel Fort, a Dutch-built structure that whispers tales of the past, and the iconic Jaffna Library, a symbol of knowledge and Sri Lankan heritage. Day 5 – Jaffna / Anuradhapura

Day 6 – Anuradhapura / Kandy
Start your day with an early morning jeep safari in Wilpattu National Park, renowned for its leopard population, as well as its lush forests and diverse wildlife. Continue your journey to Kandy, stopping en route in Matale, known for its fragrant spice gardens. In Kandy, visit the revered Temple of the Sacred Tooth of Buddha, and enjoy a captivating traditional dance performance.

Day 7 – Kandy / Nuwara Eliya
Travel to Nuwara Eliya, affectionately known as “Little England” for its colonial charm. Stop at a lush tea plantation, where you’ll learn about Sri Lanka’s world-renowned tea production and savor a fresh brew. In the afternoon, take a walking tour of this picturesque town, nestled at the base of Mt. Pidurutalagala, exploring its quaint markets and admiring the vibrant colorful atmosphere.

Day 8 – Kandy / Nuwara Eliya
Begin the scenic drive to Colombo via Kitulgala, stopping at the Mlesna Tea Center and the stunning St. Clare’s and Devon waterfalls for some photo opportunities. Upon arrival in Colombo, take a short city tour, showcasing the city’s blend of colonial and modern architecture. Spend your evening at leisure, reflecting on your journey.
