Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1 – Arrive in Colombo
Welcome to Colombo! Upon arrival, you will be warmly greeted and transferred to your hotel to relax and unwind. The remainder of the day is yours to explore the city or enjoy your hotel’s amenities.

Day 2 – Colombo / Galle / Kataragama
Start your adventure with a scenic drive to Galle, home to a stunning fortress built by the Dutch in 1663, now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Stroll through the cobblestone streets, enjoy the sea breeze, and take in the aroma of exotic spices. Continue to Kataragama, a town with a deep spiritual significance to this culture.

Day 3 – Nuwara Eliya
Rise early for an exhilarating jeep safari in Yala National Park, famous for its elephants, leopards, and diverse landscapes of lagoons, bushlands, and rocky terrain. Afterward, journey to Nuwara Eliya, a picturesque mountain retreat for the British during the colonial era.

Day 4 – Nuwara Eliya / Kandy
After breakfast, visit a charming tea plantation where you’ll learn about the art of tea-making and savor the region’s famous brew. Proceed to Kandy where you will visit the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, one of the most revered Buddhist sites in the world. In the evening, enjoy a captivating traditional dance performance followed by a delicious dinner.

Day 5 – Kandy
Explore the Pinnawela Orphanage, a sanctuary for orphaned elephants where you’ll witness these gentle giants up close. Then wander through the lush Peradeniya Botanical Gardens, known for their incredible diversity of flora and unique spices. End the day with a short scenic tour of Kandy.

Days 6 – Kandy / Dambulla
En route to Dambulla, stop at a spice farm in Matale, where you can indulge in an herbal massage or learn about Sri Lanka’s spice heritage. In the afternoon, enjoy a Village Tour, experiencing rural life via tuk-tuk, bullock cart, and a scenic boat ride. You will spend the night in Dambulla or Habarana, where you can relax and unwind from the day.

Explore the iconic Sigiriya Rock Fortress, a UNESCO World Heritage Site featuring ancient frescoes and vibrant royal gardens. Later, visit Polonnaruwa, Sri Lanka’s ancient capital, where you’ll marvel at the ruins of temples, palaces, and statues.

Day 8 – Dambulla / Trincomalee
Journey to Trincomalee, stopping at Ritigala to explore the ruins of an ancient monastery. Continue to Medirigiriya, home to the stunning Vatadage temple. End the day by arriving at Trincomalee, a historic trading port for explorers like Marco Polo and Protemy, surrounded by white sandy beaches and crystal-clear waters.

Day 10 – Trincomalee / Colombo / Depart
