Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1 – Arrive in Kathmandu
Welcome to Nepal! Upon arrival in Kathmandu, you will be greeted and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is at your leisure to relax or explore the vibrant streets of Nepal’s capital city.

Day 2 – Kathmandu
Dive into the cultural and historical depths of Kathmandu with your guide. Wander through the bustling streets of Old Kathmandu, where the city’s ancient traditions come to life. Retaining its ancient traditions, Kathmandu is blessed by a Living Goddess through ceremonial processions and events that take to the streets with her devotees seeking blessings. Prepare to immerse yourself in the captivating spiritual ambiance.

Day 3 – Kathmandu / Chitwan
After breakfast, transfer to the airport to board the flight to Bharatpur where you will be met on arrival and transferred to your resort in Chitwan National Park. Begin your adventure with a serene canoe ride along the river, where you’ll marvel at diverse birdlife and aquatic animals.

Day 4 – Chitwan
Enjoy a safari in the dense Chitwan National Park. This exciting adventure will offer you a unique opportunity to experience the wildlife in Chitwan. If you are fortunate, you may even encounter the elusive Bengal tiger.

Day 5 – Chitwan / Kathmandu
Return to Kathmandu and visit the magnificent Pashupatinath Temple, an architectural marvel situated along the bank of the sacred Bagmati River. Continue to Boudhanath Stupa, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the largest stupas in the world.

Day 6 – Kathmandu / Paro / Thimphu
Take a scenic flight to Paro, Bhutan. Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to Thimphu, Bhutan’s charming capital city. Visit the Folk Heritage Museum to learn about the Bhutanese culture and traditions in the Zorig Chusum School of Traditional Arts and Crafts, where ancient artistic practices passed through families over the centuries continue to thrive.

Day 7 – Thimphu
Begin your day at Buddha Point, offering sweeping views of Thimpu Valley. Embark on a moderate hike through the serene forests of pines, birches, and rhododendrons to Changangkha Lhakhang, an ancient and spiritual temple.

Day 8 – Thimpu / Punakha
After breakfast, travel to Punakha via the breathtaking Dochu la Pass (3,088m/10,130ft), where clear skies reveal stunning Himalayan vistas. Visit the iconic Chimi Lhakhang Monastery, situated near Punakha and surrounded by hundreds of prayer flags, dedicated to the “Mad Saint” Lama Drukpa Kinley.

Day 9 – Punakha / Paro
Drive back to Paro to explore its cultural treasures. Visit Paro Dzong, a masterpiece of Bhutanese architecture, and the National Museum, home to over 3,000 artifacts that chronicle Bhutan’s artistic legacy, both past and present.

Day 10 – Taktsang Monastery (Tiger’s Nest)
Experience Bhutan’s most iconic landmark, the Takysand Monastery, better known as the “Tiger’s Nest”. Perched dramatically on a cliff at 3,000 meters, this spiritual site is both a hiker’s paradise and a symbol of Bhutanese culture. The trek offers spectacular views and a sense of serene accomplishment.

Day 11 – Paro / Depart
Bid farewell to Bhutan as you transfer to Paro Airport for your flight to Delhi. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel near the airport to prepare for your onward journey home.
