Windhoek – Swakopmund – Damaraland – Etosha

Start in the capital city of Windhoek, and head straight to the coastal town of Swakopmund, a sharp contrast to the arid desert surroundings. From there enjoy your drive towards Henties Bay, visiting Twyfelfontein and the Organ Pipes en-route to Damaraland conservancy. You will have plenty of opportunities to take nature walks and learn about Namibia’s extraordinary conservancy programs. On your way to nearby Etosha National Park, visit a Himba Village; unusual is a mild way to describe it! At Etosha, Explore the natural springs and waterholes in the park searching for wildlife, before making your way back to Windhoek

Day 1 Arrival Windhoek

Welcome to Namibia! You will be met and transferred to your accommodations..

Day 2 Windhoek-Swakopmund

Travel to the coast via Okahandja. Visit a craft market, Goanikontes and the Moon Landscape.

Day 3 Swakopmund-Damaraland

Drive towards Henties Bay, visit Twyfelfontein and the Organ Pipes en-route to Damaraland.

Day 4 Damaraland

The morning is at leisure or you can join a guided hiking trail with a picnic breakfast before dawn. Enjoy a sundowner drive along the Aba Haub River.

Day 5 Damaraland-Etosha

Visit a Himba village and continue via Outjo to Etosha National Park. Enjoy your first exciting game drive in one of Africa’s largest parks.

Day 6 Etosha

Explore the natural springs and waterholes in the park searching for wildlife.

Day 7 Etosha

Enjoy another day of game viewing in Etosha National park, home to around 114 mammal species including the endangered black rhino or the black faced impala.

Day 8 Etosha-Windhoek-Depart

After breakfast drive south via Otjiwarongo and Okahandja, where you will have the opportunity to visit a local handicraft market before proceeding to Windhoek. Continue with your onward arrangements.
