Delhi – Jaipur – Agra – Bharatpur – Ranthambore – Jaipur – Pushkar – Jodhpur

Start with a tour of Delhi, before you head to Agra, home to UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Taj Mahal. Experience more of the richness of the Moghul Empire, with a stop in Fatehpur Sikri and Bharatpur. Onward to Ranthambore, where you will enjoy two days of game drives, fingers crossed you spot the illusive tiger. Continue on to the luscious, “pink city” of Jaipur, taking time to visit not only forts and palaces but the fascinating Jantar Mantar Observatory, a scientific phenomenon of its era. Make a pit stop in Pushkar, an important Hindu pilgrimage site where you can engage in an open air yoga and meditation session. Feel yourself awash with calmness, before you continue on to the “blue city” of Jhodpur, and a visit to the natural habitats of the Bishnoi people. End your royal visit back in Delhi, but do come back again!

Day 1 Arrive Delhi

Namaste! Welcome to India! You will be met and transferred to your hotel in Delhi, one of India’s most vibrant cities rich in culture, entertainment and culinary experiences.

Day 2 Delhi

Depart for a full day of sightseeing, with a visit to Jama Masjid mosque, past Red Fort, Chandini Chowk and the bazaars, Mahatma Gandhi’s memorial, past India Gate, the Presidential Palace, Parliament house. Visit the Qutab Minar and the mausoleum of Emperor Humayun.

Day 3 Delhi-Agra

Drive to Agra, home of the famous Taj Mahal, situated on the banks of the Yamuna River. Visit Taj Mahal, a UNESCO World Heritage Site followed by the Agra Fort, a blend of Hindu and Central Asian architecture.

Day 4 Agra-Bharatpur-Ramthambore

Visit Fatehpur Sikri en route to Bharatpur, where you will take the train to Sawai Madhopur. Transfer to your accommodations.

Day 5 & 6 Ranthambore

Two days of game drives in Ranthambore, looking for tiger sightings! Deer, reptiles and numerous birds can also be seen in the forests.

Day 7 Ranthambore-Jaipur

Enjoy your final jungle safari before driving to Jaipur, the largest city in Rajasthan and also known as the “pink city.

Day 8 Jaipur

You will have a full day tour of Jaipur, the “pink city.” Visit Amber Fort, a classic romantic Rajasthani Fort Palace, followed by sightseeing of Jaipur, starting with a visit to the City Palace and later Jantar Mantar, the observatory.

Day 9 Jaipur-Pushkar

Drive a short distance to Pushkar, an important Hindu pilgrimage center. Walk through the local bazaar to Brahma Temple on the banks of the lake, for an arti (prayer) ceremony.

Day 10 Pushkar-Jodhpur

Enjoy a Yoga and meditation session in the open. Drive to the “Blue City” of Jodhpur. Visit Mehrangarh Fort perched on a hill.

Day 11 Jodhpur

Enjoy an exciting adventure into the villages surrounding the city with an opportunity to see the Bishnoi people, living in this arid region. Lunch at a picnic area in the desert.

Day 12 Jodhpur-Delhi

Transfer to the airport for your flight to Delhi. Transfer to your hotel where the day is at leisure.
